I am back

It has been three years since I posted on this blog. I had become burned out with blogging. Plus I generally do not like to get on my home computer after spending 8 hours on another computer at work five days a week. But since I have gotten on Twitter I have renewed my interest in blogging again, especially with some of the blogs I have checked out while viewing the tweets of some of my followers and the people I have been following. Anyway I intend to try to blog more often. Perhaps it will be a somewhat relaxing diversion from the stress I routinely have to deal with at work due to a new computer software system we have switched to. I provide a lot of support to various end users at the oil field service company I work for and our new system has not been the easiest to use due to "gremlins" in the system that have yet to be fully worked out.

I hope those of you who follow blogs will follow mine. Perhaps it will be elightening for you or at the least amusing. I plan to blog mainly about politics and current events and I am very conservative even though I have been a registered Democrat (prior to moving to Texas) for 26 years. I may also post entries dealing with the routines of my life. I adopted two adorable kittens back in September 2009. Now they are a full year old and just the most affectionate cats I have ever had. They are also the first cats I have had in thirty (30) years.
